Belle’s father passed away at a young age without any life insurance, leaving her 37-year-old mother with eight children to support alone. She was 17 at the time, and as the oldest child, Belle became a second parent to her seven siblings. She understands first-hand how the lack of a financial strategy can impact a family, and she is passionate about helping others avoid what she and her family experienced.

 

Belle’s career began as a licensed clinical laboratory scientist. After earning both bachelor's and master’s degrees in medical technology, she worked her way up to the position of Supervisor of the Serology Department at Bio-Science Laboratories in Van Nuys, California. Driven by a desire to help families protect their assets and secure their financial futures, Belle left the lab behind to begin serving in the financial services industry in 1985.

 

After rising through the ranks to become one of the first women national sales directors for a prominent insurance marketing company in the late 1980s, Belle founded Ecospan Insurance Services in 1993 to be able to build relationships and work directly with her own clients. She finds it immensely rewarding to be able to work alongside you to help put together a financial strategy that fits your unique situation and needs. Belle is a Life Underwriter Training Council FellowSM (LUTCF®), a Life and Annuity Certified Specialist (LACP), and an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

 

Belle and her husband, Roland, enjoy the benefits of Belle’s many siblings and are the proud aunt and uncle to 18 nieces and nephews and 12 grandnieces and grandnephews. She loves traveling with Roland and her family, watching movies, and attending concerts, musicals, and the theatre. A Los Angeles resident for over 55 years, she loves being involved in her community, especially by supporting her local Kiwanis club.
